How To Sell Yourself
A 10-week cohort-based workshop on authentic sales, storytelling, and self-advocacy.
For people who have something to offer — but hate the idea of selling it.
If you’re a founder, coach, creative, or independent professional, you already know that selling is essential. You also know that traditional sales—pushy scripts, fake urgency, and high-pressure tactics—just doesn’t work for you. It’s not how you want to show up in the world. And frankly, it’s not how most people want to buy.
That’s where How to Sell Yourself comes in. This is a 10-week live, cohort-based course for people who want to learn how to sell themselves, their work, and their ideas—without selling out.
Who this is for
This course is for people who:
Have something worth sharing—coaching, art, strategy, a product—but feel uncomfortable putting themselves out there
Want to improve their ability to pitch, advocate, and ask for what they want
Are tired of trying to “network” and “close” in ways that feel manipulative or misaligned
Are curious about a more human, more effective way to sell
Are ready to build real skills through real practice—with feedback, structure, and community
Whether you’re raising your rates, launching a company, pitching investors, or simply trying to advocate for yourself at work, this course will give you the tools and confidence to sell like yourself—not someone else.

How it works
This is a 10-week, live cohort-based experience.
Two live Zoom session per week (45 minutes each)
Each session includes: teaching, discussion, breakout practice, and live feedback
Ongoing homework and micro-challenges to help you practice in your real life
Optional accountability between sessions with peers from the cohort
Private community for support, celebration, and sharing wins (and flops)
Cost: $495
Cohorts are small—usually 10 to 20 participants—to foster real connection and conversation.
If you want to learn by doing, get better through practice, and grow alongside a group of thoughtful peers, you’ll be right at home.
Themes we cover
Each week, we explore a core theme that builds toward becoming someone who can sell with clarity, confidence, and integrity.
-
Redefining what “sales” actually is. Making the shift from selling at someone to helping for someone.
“Sales is just asking for permission—with care.” — Michelle Love
-
How presence, curiosity, and empathy sell better than any pitch deck. People buy from people—especially people they like and trust.
-
Your founder story. Your product story. The difference between “I make websites” and “I help brands say what they actually mean.”
You’ll learn a simple four-part structure to tell a compelling story: setup, change, turning point, and resolution.
-
It’s hard to help someone if you don’t know what they need. This week is all about asking better questions, listening more closely, and getting to the heart of your prospect’s story.
-
How to ask for what you want—clearly, kindly, and without apology. This is often the hardest week for participants. It’s also often the one that changes the most.
-
How to sell while honoring your own time, capacity, and ethics.
We’ll practice setting expectations, saying no, and letting your “yes” actually mean something.
-
Why the best salespeople are unattached to the outcome—and how you can be too.
Think: persistent, not pushy. Curious, not controlling.
-
What to do when you get a no. How to reframe rejection, move forward without spinning out, and keep showing up with integrity.
-
How to build a habit of asking, selling, and speaking up—by celebrating the small moments. As BJ Fogg says, “Shine creates habit.”
-
You’ll teach back one of the concepts we’ve explored, and you’ll be surprised how much you’ve learned. By this point, most people are already selling more effectively—without even realizing it.
Why it works
This course isn’t about memorizing scripts or mastering psychological hacks. It works because it helps people like you:
Get clear on what you’re offering and why it matters
Practice asking and advocating in safe, supportive environments
Experiment in the real world between sessions
Build confidence by getting feedback, reflecting, and trying again
Shift your relationship to sales, forever
